An introductory, hands-on course in Java programming for first-year Applied Informatics students. Starting from basic syntax, variables, and data types, the course builds up through control flow, methods, arrays, and object-oriented programming (classes, inheritance, interfaces). Each session pairs a short concept walkthrough with live coding and an in-class lab, followed by a weekly assignment.
